Highway 84 to Highway 94, this 2.1 mile widening carries traffic along some of
the busiest commercial areas in the City of Valdosta. The existing road

The area is congested and plans had to
interface with numerous existing commercial developments, new construction
and planned construction along the Boulevard.
Since the new County Civic Center
was located along the road, it was important that the Boulevard have an aesthetic
appearance for visitors to the Center.
The road changed from a two lane rural
