Multi-million dollar hangar used for the inspection, maintenance and repair of C-130 aircraft. Similar to Fuel Cell Hangar. Low roof administration and shop area surrounding the high roof hangar space provides a functional work space. A 1/4 ton capacity monorail was designed to attach a safety harness to the personnel working on top of the aircraft. Mechanical - Electrical Room and Dock Supervision Observation Platform were constructed on the mezzanine utilizing the composite section for sturdiness and ensuing a cost effective design with low noise transmission. A Series of 28' hangar doors and a roll-up door was used to accommodate 40' clearance for vertical stabilizer of aircraft.
